What's happening with the clock tower at The Spot?

Time's Up? Derby's clock tower in The Spot is slated for demolition only 21 years after it was put up. The council wants to level the area as part of a plan to make space for public events and a market. Maxwell Craven from Derby Civic Society says he's astonished at the decision.
