Events start at 1.00pm - Doors open from 12.00-12.15
Time to enjoy a drink hot/cold, and some snacks from the bar before the performances start at 1.00pm and they usually last one hour. Here are a few of the events:
Tues 22nd Sept 1.00pm: Victorian Nottingham & it’s New Theatre Royal Dr Jo Robinson: from University of Nottingham will give a talk about the birth and background of the Theatre Royal.
Fri 9th Oct 1.00pm Tom Hewson: Jazz Piano, Winner of the 2014 Nottingham International Jazz/Piano Competition
Thurs 19th Nov 1.00pm Garry Magee: Baritone, & Tim Lole: Pianist. They will perform Schubert’s great song cycle—Schwanengesang
Mon 7th Dec 1,00pm Nottingham Trent Uni: Chamber Choir will perform some Christmas Carols & Festive Songs. (This event will take place in the Royal Concert Hall)
From experience these FREE events seem quite popular with our age group and people usually start queuing quite early before the doors open. So anyone interested don’t wait till last Min as seating gets filled up quickly
